AREAS OF EMPHASIS
Mr. Beller's focus is business litigation, including banking litigation, commercial disputes, creditor representation in bankruptcy and adversary proceedings, employment counseling and litigation, and appellate advocacy. Before joining our firm in 2002, Mr. Beller practiced in Los Angeles for seven years with O'Melveny & Meyers, LLP, handling a wide variety of complex commercial litigation.
BACKGROUND
Mr. Beller graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994 with a Juris Doctor degree with honors. He also earned two degrees from Baylor University: a Master of International Journalism degree in 1990, and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and foreign service in 1989. He is the author of Analyzing the Relationship Between International Law and International Politics in China's and Vietnam's Territorial Dispute Over the Spratly Islands, 29 Tex. Int'l L.J. 293 (1994).
PERSONAL
In his spare time, Mr. Beller enjoys rock climbing and mountain biking. He lives in Fort Collins with his wife, who is also an attorney, and their four children.
